Today, I will be editing the videos I mentioned in my previous email, and I’m thinking about drawing faces.
I know drawing faces is tough for people. It used be be difficult for me, so I get it.
When most people start learning to draw faces they will learn 1 of these 2 things:
Start drawing a face by drawing an egg shape
Draw guide lines for the eyes, nose, and mouth
Usually most people use one or both of these to draw better faces. And I will teach these methods in my Lifetime Drawing Lab.
However, I will teach another technique that I really like doing, and I’m surprised no one really teaches.
I will teach an amazing technique where you draw one line and draw faces consistently well. In this technique you’ll :
Get the placement of the eyes, eye sockets, eyebrows, and nose with far better accuracy and consistency
Draw faces in different views much easier
This one single line will give you much more confidence to draw faces.
If you want to learn this technique and be able to draw faces better, then come join me in the drawing lab.

To be honest, I don’t really use a pencil set that much, but if you’re starting out or doing a lot of shading with pencils then I recommend them.
Looking for something cute and colorful? Well, a pencil set doesn’t have to be the same boring colors anymore.
It can be such a hassle when you get colored pencils and they break! That’s why I like these. The inside color core is pretty think, so you’ll be able to use them for a long time.
There are different grades of pencils, and when you’re starting out you don’t know which one you’ll like the most.
Getting an inexpensive but high quality pencil set allows you to try different pencil grades and an assortment of drawing supplies.
Plus this one allows you to work in grey tones with the pencils, black with the charcoals, or add some color with the conte sticks!
Castle is offering a limited time deal on a set of 72 colored pencils. Intense, creamy pigments with a money back guarantee.
Cheaper version of Copic Markers. Seemless blending, refillable ink, and 120 vibrant colors.
Cheaper version of Prismacolor Colored Pencils. 72 rich colors that won’t break.
Cheaper canvas alternative.
