Program starts October 6.

Here are the steps:

  1. Draw simple shapes first: an oval for the elk’s head, body, and the horns.

  2. Add four leg shapes below the body.

  3. Erase parts of the leg shapes where they overlap, and draw the elk’s eyes and horns more clearly.

  4. Add extra horn detail and texture on the legs.

  5. Finally, add shading so your elk looks more 3D.

Here’s what I learned while drawing:

  • Starting with simple shapes helps put everything in the right place.

  • You can erase parts you don’t need so lines don’t clash.

  • Adding details slowly (horns, texture) makes the drawing more interesting.

  • Shading gives your elk more depth and realism.

I hope you have loads of fun drawing your elk! Let me know how yours turns out.

Have a great day,
Jae
