Your action scenes fall flat because you forgot THIS
Don't forget this when drawing action poses

Hello friend!
Your action scenes fall flat because you forgot THIS.
Dare to Dream: Enter for a chance to win $100,000
$100,000. One Year. Your Dream.
Yes, we really, really believe in Creators that much.
Show us who you are and why your dream matters. To yourself. To your community. And beyond. Tell us your story.
Dare to Dream is simple. Make a video about your business (or even your idea for a business!), post it on social, and you’re in the running. This isn’t about follower count or virality. At Stan, we’re looking for real people making a real impact in the world.
You got this.
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED. For full Official Rules, visit daretodream.stan.store/officialrules.
You’re forgetting foreshortening.
Action needs depth—arms reaching toward the camera, legs kicking back into space, torsos twisting through the frame.
When everything stays the same size, the movement feels staged and flat instead of explosive.
Pushing foreshortening creates impact, speed, and immersion, pulling the viewer directly into the action.
